Fitting green into the cityscape requires some advanced planning. With less space available and a rapid-growing population density, it is always going to be a difficult task. Creating vertical gardens is often considered a viable solution.
Are urban jungles really that important? Yes, and for a number of reasons. Trees play a very important role in controlling the temperature, as they are capable of storing the carbon while also constantly cycling water.
